Rental Rates and Policies

The Center, located in the heart of Haymarket Square, Downtown Council Bluffs provides an excellent place for your celebration or meeting. The Facility offers a variety of rooms to meet your needs. Let us help you with your next gathering.

"Certificate of Liability" and uniformed security officers are required for all rentals serving alcohol.

Rental Guidelines

  • Two hour minimum, 5 hour maximum

  • Rentals only within the Center hours of operation unless approved by the rental director.

  • The Center may reduce/elimate rental fees to kindred organizations whose program content may benefit Center members and the community

  • Renter may set-up, tear down and clean-up the rental space and not pay the fee

  • Security Deposit: A security deposit is no required for Center members.

  • Security Officers: One police officer per 75 people is required if alcohol is served.

  • All rental procedures, guidlines and schedule of events may be modified at the discretion of the rental director to accomodate Center programs and service to Council Bluffs community.

Ballroom

Our Ballroom is the most popular room for renting at The Center. With over 4,800 square feet it boasts of seating 250 people Reception style and over 350 Thearter style. In addition, the room has a high performace wood floor and variable atmosphere lighting. Movable partitions are also avaliable that will divide the 4,800 square feet into two 2,400 square feet rooms or 4 - 1,200 square feet rooms.


Kitchen

Our 600 square foot kitchen is included when renting the entire ballroom. It comes equipped with two commercial grade dishwashers, Ice make, 2 microwaves, stove, grill, oven and access to freezer and refriferator.


The Art Studio

The Art Studio is 675 square foot room with running water and lots of windows. This room can accommodate up to 25 people and best used for small baby showers, birthday parties or smaller get togethers.


Multi-Purpose Room

Our 400 square foot conference room is perfect for meetings or parties for up to 25 people. It offers a variety of audio visual equipment (additional cost) and is equipped with a coffee bar.
