Did you know that there are ways to possible receive supports or equipment to help with these conditions from Medicare B? This seminar is not going to try and sell you anything or sign you up for things. Synchronized Swimming Club

Ever wanted to be just like Esther Williams in all those movies? Well get started by comming to synchronized swimming. Both beginners and experienced swimmers are welcome. Develop skill and grace in the water while having fun! Mondays & Fridays Time has changed to 1:00pm - 2:00pm FREE to members, Non-Members $55.25 per session

Crochet & Knitting Group

Come with your projects, and if you need help with something this might be the place to get help! Crochet, knitting embroidery and plastic canvas work are all done here at one time or another! A great place to chat while making new friends!

The Center Cafe'

Lady Caroline McKinley, famous for creating the award winning British tea shop in Dundee, operates the Council Bluffs Senior Center Cafe. Try the wonderful home cooked breakfasts, daily meat and potato specials, salads, Lady Caroline's heart warming soups, sandwiches and decadent desserts.

The Centers Caf'e is open from:
7:00am until 1pm Monday - Friday
Saturday Food Service is planned in the near future. Lady Caroline also offers full service catering for community events and celebrations.

Meal Site

The Center offers a meal site lunch at little or no cost to help eliminate isolation and provide a well balanced and nutritional meal for all, Monday through Friday.

The meal site is sponsored by Southwest 8 Senior Services and lunch is served at noon. Reservations for lunch must be made by 11:00am the day prior by calling 323-5996 #0 or contacting the meal site coordinator located in the in the

Programs are also offered in conjunction with the meal site which include bingo, card clubs, Sit & Fit chair exercise, and a walking program called Walk Abouts. For more information on these or any programs or classes at The Center please refer to our Fitness Class or Enrichment Schedules always located at The Welcome Desk.

Southwest 8 Senior Services is also providing speakers during the noon meal with educational seminars for the benefit of older adults. These seminars include;

Gift Certificates are available at The Center Reception Desk and can be purchased at any time. Michelle does not need to be at The Center to purchase Gift Certificates. Masage Gift Certificates make a great gift for all occasions: Birthdays, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Anniversaries, Ect...

A special "Thank you" to all who voted me as the Number One Massage Therapist within the Council Bluffs area! This was my second time chosen (I was selected in 2005 also) through the Reader's Choice Award conducted by the Daily NonPareil.

The holidays are right around the corner and Santa needs gift ideas!! Massage is the perfect gift to give, or request for everyone! Benefits of massage range from stress relief and simply relaxation to specific pain relief such as muscle tension or stiffness.

Massage appointments can be made by calling me or at the Welcome Desk for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday from 9:00am - 6:00pm.
